Download from Server greyed out

I recently uploaded a VM from Fusion to ESXI 6.5 Vsphere host, and would now like to Download it back from the server, however it is greyed out?

I've done everything mentioned in this article (https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2082121) but am unable to download it.

Any ideas?

Can you download other VMs from the host?

Hi,

'Download from Server' greyed out that may caused by the following two reasons:

1. VM is not in Power off status that means it's powered on or suspended.

2. It only allows one thread to download VM at the same time, if there's another one is downloading that VM, download option will grey out in your side.

You can logon to the ESXi server to check that two problems.
