I would like to know what the GPU is exposed as in Windows 10 device manager for developing purposes. Is it listed as AMD or a generic graphics adapter?
The GPU is "VMware SVGA II", neither Intel, nor Nvidia or AMD, it's our own virtual device.

It's emulated, not virtualized, so it's not directly accessible in the guest.
