Deleted VMs still show up in Fusion?

Hiya,

There seems to be a 'recently used' list of VMs when you control-click on the VMware fusion icon in the dock, and it's full of VMs which I have deleted and moved to the trash. Clicking on any of them doesn't seem to do anything. Does anyone know how to clear this list?

It's an Apple bug (or poorly designed Apple feature) which hasn't been properly fixed since the feature was first introduced as the behavior you're seeing is not just with VMware Fusion and is reproducible with other applications!

You need to clear the Open Recent menu...  File > Open Recent > Clear Menu
