I have a virtual machine running XP on my Mac mini with a custom size thermal printer connected to it. The printer prints 4x6" (Zebra label printer). The issue is that when I either enable "Match Printer" or share it using Apple's Bonjour, in either case it prints to it as if it is a normal size paper. Even when I change the settings and create custom paper sizes under Windows XP it still prints to it as if it's 8.5x11. The only way to get it to print properly is plus the USB plug directly into the virtual machine. This works OK, until the virtual machine restarts, at which point it always ends up reinstalling a new (additional) copy of the printer. Also, the paper sizes under OS X are fine, I've checked the CUPS server and it is set correctly there as 4x6. Is there a way to get this working properly?
