Hi, I just watched the video on how to use VM Converter to convert a physical machine to use with Fusion.
I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 with WinXP SP2 setup exactly the way I like it so obviously it would be an immense timesaver if I could port this over to Fusion and run on my MacBookPro.
However ... performance-wise, is it better to start clean and build a new WinXP virtual machine?
I bought a new WinXP SP2 OEM license so I don't want to have to keep reactivating in case there are problems using a ported over VM and I have to start from scratch again anyway.
Thanks.
There shouldn't be any problem with using a converted image.
Thanks Harliv, will give it a try now.
