Mac Host
2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
13.0.1 (22A400)
VMWare Fusion Professional Version 13.0.0 (20802013)
I've been reading lots of posts about earlier Mac OS Host versions and VMWare with issues with:
Could not connect 'Ethernet0' to virtual network '/dev/vmnet8'
Successfully added CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-2009.iso, but when trying to use Share with my Mac, and I click on the Connect Network Adapter, it won't "stick". Using Bridged Network works fine.
Any solutions for this setup?
Could you open a Terminal session while the Fusion GUI is open, issue the following:
ps -ef | grep -i vmnet-natd
and post the results?
Also could you post a copy of the file /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/networking
0 91594 1 0 6Dec22 ?? 0:51.35 /Library/Application Support/VMware/VMware Fusion/Services/Contents/Library/vmnet-natd -s 6 -m /Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion/vmnet8/nat.mac -c /Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion/vmnet8/nat.conf 501 75115 74274 0 7:11PM ttys000 0:00.01 grep -i vmnet-natd
Only files/directories here: /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/networking

Correction (couldn't edit original post)
Root directory:
/Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/
Updated to MacOS 13.1 and rebooted and it appears now that the NAT is working
And Network file is now in the directory.
