Could not connect 'Ethernet0' to virtual network '/dev/vmnet0

Receive error below during the startup of VM. No network connection on VM.

Could not connect 'Ethernet0' to virtual network '/dev/vmnet0

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)

Mac OS Big Sur Version 11.0 Beta 20A5364e

VMWare Fusion Player Version 12.0.0 (16880131)

Any ideas?

Reinstalled Fusion and created a brand new vm same error.

I have the same issue here Big Sur 11.0 Beta (20A5374g)

Have fully removed and reinstalled VMWARE too

I have just seen that this Forum is littered with people with the exact same issue on VMware Fusion and Parallels too - this issue is with a change in MacOS and not the virtualisation software and has been raised with Apple by developers
