Thanks for attempting to answer this question. I can't find a solution online.
Here's the issue: When I attempt to copy text directly from Excel (on the virtual machine side running Windows XP) and Command+Tab to any running program on the native Mac side I hear a "boomp" sound on the Windows side. The error message there reads:
Excel cannot complete this task with available resources.
Choose less data or close other applications.
I can get around this by copying the same exact text from the Excel side of the virtual machine to a text editor on the Windows side and then choosing copy again from withing the text editor and then pasting to any open program on the native Mac side. I don't close any applications on the Windows side so it doesn't appear to be a resource issue.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can change that will make the copying of text directly from the virtual machine version of Excel to any open program on the native Mac side of my iMac possible?
