Connect Fusion 8Pro to ESXI 5.5

Hello,

in my HomeLab I got a new Intel NUC and an old PC both running ESXI 5.5 (I want to replace the old PC with the NUC). When I connect to the old PC via Fusion 8Pro I can manage the system, create new VMs and see all available resources. When I connect to the NUC it prompts me for username and password and connects but I don't see any information about CPU and RAM-Usage I also don't see the local datastore on the NUC. When I connect to the NUC via vSphere-Client on a Windows-Client everything works just fine.

Does anybody have a clue why it works with my old PC but not with the NUC? Thanks in advance.

Hello again,

I managed to get it to work yesterday in the evening. I tried a lot of stuff, until - in my despair - i updated the BIOS of the NUC to the latest version. That did the trick.

Merry christmas everybody.
