Clarification on "The processor does not support XSAVE"

Hello, I'm running Monterey on my 5,1 Mac Pro (6 core 3.46 Westmere) OCLP, and tried to set up a VM running OSX Mojave. I got the dreaded VM could not load because "The processor does not support XSAVE". So if I understand the threads on this I have read here, I am prohibited from creating and running a VM of OSX Mojave because my machine never "officially" supported Mojave?

If that is correct, then a 7,1 Mac Pro (Intel Xeon W processor) running Monterey, would have no issue running a VM of Mojave.....right?

I was going on the hunt anyway, but this might speed things up.

OLCP is not supported by Fusion. Some people have gotten it to work, but in this case, I suspect the lack of CPU features is a deal-ender.  You'd have to downgrade to the supported version of OSX and Fusion to get it to work.
