When I try to install VMware Tools, The setup program gives me the following error:
"The cabinet file 'Toolbox.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM or a problem with this package." There is not an error number listed.
I downloaded the VMFusion software, so I do not have a CD-Rom. I have Fusion 8 Installed and a Windows 7 Virtual Machine installed.
Any idea how to solve this? I found some info in the Knowledge base, but I could not figure out what I supposed to do. Here's are two links:
