Can you specify Virtual Machine enviroment settings after the VM has been created?

I am importing my Parallels VM into VM Fusion and I know it will adopt the virtual hard disk size of my Parallels setup which is about 27GB... but I was wondering what environment setting I can change with this imoprted VM? Can I specify enviromental paramaters such as multiple core useage after the fact?

You can change the number of cores after install or conversion, but the guest operating system itself might not know how to handle it - a prime example is Windows XP, which won't use a second processor if you installed it with only one. Microsoft doesn't officially support changing the Hardware Abstraction Layer, although it's possible.
