Can't start WIN 10 after update from Fusion 7 to 10 with a paused WIN 10 (not shut down)

Hey, I just use fusion from time to time, so I was fine with fusion 7 on my macbook

After update to high sierra I just wanted to start fusion with WIN 10, but the

computer crashed totally ;(

So, I thought a good moment to update to Fusion 10. Installing was quite

easy, but I can't start WIN 10, because it was not shut down, just paused.

Fusion tells me to update the image, but I can't, because it's only paused...

What can I do to make it run?

Jörg

Hi Jörg,

Can you run other virtual machines?

In other words, first make sure your Fusion 10 works as intended.

If that is the case and you still can't resume the VM, then instead of resume you can power off.

Go to Virtual Machine menu and hold down the option key.

The power off choice should get enabled.

Select it to power off the VM.

Of course your current state of the VM is lost.

hope this helps,
