Can't install Ethernet Controller in Windows 7 (MacBook Pro 17" Aluminum)

Windows 7 installs fine (and surprisingly fast), however networking is an issue -- the Ethernet controller won't install, so I'm stuck. Any suggestions on how I can force a manual driver installation?

Hi,

Add the following line in the associated .vmx file

ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000"

Where would i be able to find that .vmx file? I am running a virtual machine of my boot camp partition.
