I have a 2011 version Macbook Pro which has automatic video card switching feature.
Now this feature troubles me, when the Vmware Fusion is runing even all vms are 3D disabled, the Mac switchs to ATI graphics, and it comsumes much more power than Intel one, and the Mac burns my laps. As a result, the battery will last no more than 3 hours.
Can Vmware put a option in the preferances to let use choose whether use hight performance graphics card or not.
