CTRL, ALT, Delete to log on Windows 7?

After weeks with no issue, Windows 7 when opening after shutdown, reaches a screen saying "CTRL, ALT, Delete to log on". Should that always show up and how do you do that on a Mac?CTRL

If your Mac has no forward delete key, press control+alt+fn+delete.

When holding fn, pressing backspace/delete will act as the forward delete key required to log into WIndows.

Having to press Ctrl-Alt-Del is not a VMware issue, it's a Windows issue, however you can send Ctrl-Alt-Del to the Virtual Machine from the Virtual Machine menu.

Have a look at: Enable or disable secure logon (CTRL+ALT+DELETE)

Have you tried CTRL, ALT, INSERT instead?

Yes, the   "fn"   key will allow you to use "delete" in windows by pressing "fn + backspace"

So as the previous post to me said, by pressing  "fn + ctrl + alt + backspace"   windows will recognise it as  "ctrl + alt + del"
