I can't burn data CDs from my Win7 VM running on Fusion 3.1.3. I have DMA enabled in the Windows Device Manager for the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers (ATA Channel 1, ATA Channel 0 does not seem to have that option). However, when I burn from Windows or from Nero, the burn process starts but then fails at some point. It seems that CD burning has long been an issue in Fusion (and one that VMWare is not handling well, if the frustrated posters are to be believed).
I have VMWare Tools installed, so that wouldn't seem to be an issue.
I don't have a lot more information to offer, at present. I have searched the forums, but haven't found a solution that works. I'm running on a MacBook Pro that I got Thanksgiving 2009.
Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
