This is an intermittant problem. I don't even know if it's related to VM. On my VM, once in a while, the internet becomes very slow if I navigate to a different domain. If I remain in the same domain, it is fast. However, say, if I navigate from google to facebook, it becomes slow. This doesn't happen on the host side. Only on the guest side. Can't really repro it. Has this been reported? Is it a known issue?
Hi vmWareAAA,
Hope doing great .
Please check you vnic settings & speed .
You may change nic mode if bridge to NAT & vise versa.
I have seen similar behavior, that I have recently begun to think is the NAT Network Connection, which is used by default to provide network to VMs. I have seen better performance by switching to Bridged, which allows the VM to get its own IP from the network. I'm not sure where the problem lies with NAT, but this seems to be a good workaround for now.
