BootCamp KbdMgr.exe slips for a while after VM session start

When i boot my bootcamp XP in Fusion, XP hungs for 1-2 minutes, task manager shows KbdMgr.exe consuming 50% CPU (dual core enabled).

It happens time-to-time, not every time i boot bootcamp VM.

A quick Google search for "KbdMgr.exe CPU" suggests this is not related to Fusion, e.g. people are seeing this with native boot as well. I'd suggest looking into KbdMgr.exe some more and checking that you're using the latest Boot Camp drivers.

I remember seeing this with the Boot Camp 1.4 drivers but not since with the Boot Camp 2.0 drivers on the Leopard DVD. Which 'latest' are you referring to 1.4 or 2.0?

Since that's Apple's keyboard service you may want to open a bug report with them through the Apple feedback website.
