Boot Camp Partition will no longer start . . Help!

When I click on RUN it says:

File Not Found: Boot Camp partition.vmdk

However - if I open the package contents of the Boot Camp partition package it IS there. I have looked at the line in the VMX file, and it says it's there okay.

Has anybody got any ideas?

thanks in advance

One other point:

In my VMware Fusion Library I now have two boot camp entries:

Boot Camp partition on /dev/disk0

and

Boot Camp partition on /dev/disk4

if I try the second one it says 'preparing boot camp sector' or some such - I cancelled straight away

Not sure if this helps, or makes things worse?

Two restarts of the mac, and it's working again - although I still have the second entry in the VMware Fusion Library - I'm not sure how to get rid of the second one, but it doesn't seem to relate to anywhere.

Another restart and the extra library entry has gone, leaving everything working and back to normal.

Very strange, however my experiences with parallels led me to believe that once something went wrong - it REALLY went wrong.

Thanks to anyone who read this and thought about it!
