Boot ArchLinux doesn't work and I have the message "no valid offer received"

Hi, i have a M2 macOS and i'm trying to create a virtual machine of ArchLinux, I used the iso file on the ArchLinux website and plug it in VMWare. I tried to launch but every time the boot start with a "Start PXE over IPv4" then I get "no valid offer received" and then "Start PXE over IPv6" and again "no valid offer received". I tried to launch it the parameter CD/DVD boot because i'm using iso but same message. I don't know what to do it's the first time I use VMware.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Please ensure that "Connect at power on" in the VM's virtual CD-ROM settings is enabled.

What is the name of the ISO that you downloaded? If it has x86_64 in the name, it's intended for Intel architectures and will not run on an M2 Mac which is based on Apple silicon, an Arm architecture.

Mac mini (M2 Pro/32GB/2TB), Intel NUC10i5FNH w/ESXi 7.0,
iPhone 14 Pro Max (256GB), iPad Pro 12.9" (5th gen, M1/16GB/1TB)
40mm Watch Series 6 (Titanium), TV 4K (3rd gen), TV 4K (1st gen)

I strongly suggest you follow the instructions in the unofficial guide (in the documents section of this forum) to get a guest running properly.  There's a number of tips and tricks in there that are really important.

Arch Linux ARM might be a distro that will prove difficult to get working with Fusion on Apple Silicon. All of their supported platform distributions don’t seem to match the virtual hardware that Fusion provides, and the ARM v8 generic distribution will take a very skilled individual to install and boot as all the details of the boot loader are left to the installer.

I would suggest a more mainstream distro or even Gentoo as an alternative. Unless you have a lot of patience and time, and are willing to spend a lot of time on the Arch forums figuring out how they can support the standardized virtual hardware profile (UEFI firmware, NVMe disks, etc) that Fusion provides. The following VMware KB article may be of help https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/90364
