  • 1.  Bluetooth connection request when printing from win 10 VM

Intel iMac running Win 10 via VMWare Fusion.  HP laser printer connected via ethernet connection.

Everytime we print from Windows side, we get a Bluetooth Connection Request from a Mac in next office over.

We cancel the request and document prints just fine.

    This happens every time.

Deleted bluetooth.plist but not sure what else to do other than turn off bluetooth (we use bluetooth accessories so that would be inconvenient).

Look more macOS than Fusion. I'd click the "Ignore this device" check box, then Cancel.

Also, check to seein the VM's USB & Bluetooth settings to allow sharing of Bluetooth devices. Turn that off (very few Bluetooth devices work anyway with a VM) and see if that changes any behavior.

    Thanks for suggestions.

Clicking the 'Ignore this device' box does nothing.

I turned off share bluetooth devices (in the vmware settings) and the bluetooth mouse still works.  I'll see if this does the fix.

You needn't worry about bluetooth keyboard and mouse that you're using with the Host mac. Those are passed to the VM by Fusion as virtual USB devices, not "raw" bluetooth devices.
