VMWare won't comment on future plans, but I know that there is interest in doing it (and I share that!).
The problem is that OSX doesn't provide any remotely easy way to provide accelerated graphics (there's no abstraction API like there is in Windows). That's why no virtualization product provides 3d acceleration for OSX guests.
