Beta 4: Expose "smearing" across multiple VM windows in Unity

A bug in the "unity" feature on my macbook pro:

When running multiple VM applications in "unity" (Win XP sp2 VM), going into expose mode to view all windows on the screen (press F9 by default) causes the image from the front-most VM window to be smeared across all the VM windows which it overlaps, instead of separating them out and showing the actual content of their windows. The shape of the windows remains correct, but they seem to be painted at the time F9 was pressed, rather than re-painting their windows in entirety post-F9.

Makes it hard to tell which window is which when switching between them, but it's great that all windows show up as distinct OSX windows, unlike parallels which lumps them all together in a virtual desktop window in expose...

So - great feature, just doesn't work quite right yet. Tried to log this as a bug but the bug track page is down at the moment.

Cheers

This is a known issue. As you might imagine, Windows (really, any OS) was not designed to be virtualized, so it's not easy to coax information about background windows out of it. The developers have some ideas to try, though.
