Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch a VM
2. Hide the toolbar via View menu if not already hidden
3. Click the green (+) maximize button in the titlebar
Observed behavior:
Window does not maximize to fill the screen properly. The missing height appears to be exactly the height of the toolbar as observed by toggling the toolbar visibility while the window is improperly maximized. This only appears to occur up until such time as the guest OS has booted and (I'm guessing here) the VMware support service has loaded at which point maximize behaves properly. This issue recurs on every launch of the VM.
Desired behavior:
Window maximize code should respect the visibility of the toolbar and resize properly to fill the entire screen.
Configuration:
Mac OS X 10.6.8 (also occurs under Lion GM)
VMware Fusion 3.1.3 (416484)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
P.S. Is there any other mechanism on this web site for reporting a bug without purchasing support incidents? I have no desire to initiate a paid support incident for a simple bug.
