Available disk modes (Persistent, Append, Undoable)?

Are there any plans to expose the available disk modes to the end-user, well, except through editing the VMX file?

which ones would you like to see or do you most use?

Append mode with Rollback and Commit options, primarily. When I was a VPC for Mac user, I would operate in Undoable mode and commit on the weekends. This way if I hosed my VM, I could rollback to safe checkpoint.

Or if you could support one snapshot with rollback and commit that would probably be easiest.
