Dear reader,
I been posting one or two problems I've been having with my old, reinstalled version of Windows 98SE in this thread recently. None of my problems were properly solved but I managed to find an old XP disc in order to upgrade. So far so good, with one exception:
I am experiencing the familiar sound crackling problems running Windows XP SP3 Prof. with Fusion Version 4.1.3 (730298) on OS X 10.8.
The vm is running with 3D acceleration off. My guess is that there is some kind of clash between the audio and video drivers - I am just using those that came with VMWare Tools.
What needs to be done in order to sort this out?
