Currrently we are limited to 8GB memory in a guest, are there plans to up this limit anytime soon? I don't want to have to jump ship from a Mac platform unless I have to but I could do with running with more than 8GB RAM.
You can edit the .vmx file and make changes to the VM. That being said, if you want official VMware support you must stay within the supported boundaries. Good luck!
