Application Launcher stuck on "Updating..."

When I click on applications on the menu to launch new apps while in Unity mode, the app list just consists of 'Updating..." and none of the items show up. I have restarted VMware Fusion and the virtual machine.

The virtual machine is Windows XP and I updated to Fusion 1.0 from the beta.

I was able to resolve a similar problem by removing some items.
