? Apple superdrive unresponsive with windows 8.1 (VMWare Fusion Pro 11.0.0)

Disk is readable on Mac side (MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7) but not on PC side.

I'm unable to reproduce your problem in house. I connected Apple SuperDrive to Windows 8.1 guest and the content in the DVD Rom can be read without problem in Windows.

Actually the super drive appears as a USB device instead of CD/DVD (virtual device) in the VM toolbar, please confirm you have access the proper drive inside the guest.
