Anyone out there HELP is needed

I am trying to install a Virtual MAchine (Windows 7).

Using the install new Virtual Machine Wizard I follow the following steps:

1) New Virtual Machine

2) Detects Windows 7 install disc

3) Enter User Name, password, License Key etc...

4) Select "More Seamless"

5) Gets request for VMWare Tools download & install....do this

6) After tools install select finish in next window

7) Save as is done

THEN installation of virtual machine finished (& doesn't appear to install windows 7)

The Virtual machine tries to open & the message

" VMware Fusion cannot connect to the virtual machine.

Make sure you have rights to run the program and to access all directories it uses & rights to access all directories for temporary files."

What am I doing wrong?

Please help.

Don't have any worthwhile advice but I'd like to find out

what's going on with your install.

Are you still stuck?

hi Roby,

Try a complete reinstall of Fusion, refer http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=101783...

During the creation of the virtual machine select the option "More Isolated".

Let me know if this helps...
