Alt + Shift doesn't work inside Softimage 3D Animation package.

Hello all,

I use an Animation package (Softimage) inside Windows 7 which runs within VMware Fusion latest.

I use a macbook pro (early 2011).

The issue I have is that on my normal windows box I use the Alt key to navigate around. Orbiting the camera, etc. In one part of the package if I use left Alt + left Shift it does a different thing. Within fusion this doesn't happen.

Is there any reason you can think why this wouldn't be working? And is there anything I can do to fix this?

Try to config it in VMware Fusion -> Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse.

I did look in there but couldn't find anything that would help.

What would you do to fix this in that section?

I don't understand why this combo of shift + alt wouldn't work?

I don't have that software, I am not sure where we use Alt + shift.

Did your Alt is functional? such as call the shutcut when navigate by keyboard.

I can have a look if you have any other place to use both alt + shift?

Yes left Alt works fine. As does left shift.

It's when I try to use both together.

Not sure where else I've ever had to use those hotkeys really. Humm...
