Adjusting Windows 10 resolution makes the screen go bizzard

I am on a Macbookpro 13 with High Sierra 10.13.3 (17D102). And I have VMWare Fusion Professional Version 8.5.10 (7527438) with WIndows 10 Pro.

Some reason the windows resolution (2560 x 1600) is too small and unable to read it. Lowering the resolution in Windows makes the screen goes crazy by flashing continuously letting not to access any other control on the Windows, only thing to do is Shutdown the VMWare.

As a work around I increased the windows browser zoom to 150+ and then I can read the content, still the menu and other text outside the browser are too small.

Any fix or workaround available?

Jai B.

Are the VMware Tools installed correctly? You could try to uninstall, restart the VM and reinstall them...

In the VM's display options, you should also have it set to use full resolution for Retina display and to automatically adjust the resolution, which is managed by the VMware Tools (with 200% scaling, if I'm not mistaken; even if in Windows 10 it shows up as custom and at 300%, don't know why).
