AT&T Aircard and Windows

AT&T Aircard, USBConnect Lighting Aircard, latest Communication Manager software, new MacBook Pro, VMWare Fusion 3.1.1. Cannot get the Aircard to connect within the VMWare enviromment (Windows XP Pro). I enable the AT&T card for "Windows", installs just fine. However the communication manager says "mobile disabled". There is nothing to enable in Device manager. Help!

Don't connect inside windows, connect from the Mac then use NAT networking.

But, avoid installing AT&T software on the mac side - carrier software tends to screw up the OS.

Thank you, that did the trick. I allowed the software that came on the card to install, which is not the AT&T comm mngr.
