Hi folks, I was just looking through the docs getting ready to install Fusion on a Mac Pro and build a VM for Windows Server 2003. Is it true that only the Enterprise Editions are supported or has anyone tried Standard Edition? I was looking here: http://pubs.vmware.com/guestnotes/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm under the Choosing and Installing Guest Operating systems. My license is for Standard Edition and I am willing to wade through workarounds if there are any. Thanks.
Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition is in the list of supported OS choices for a Fusion VM. I've installed it a number of times without difficulty, and have not noticed any issues.
