128 Mbyte VRAM barrier

Hi to everybosdy.

I apologize if this topic has alrerady been discussed (as I believe) but I can't findi anything good for me. The question is:

- will VMWare break the 128 Mbyte limit to the VRAM? (Win XP)

- is there a config file I can modify in order to have more than 128 mbyte VRAM?

I currently have 3.1.3 and 4.1 testing.

TIA

Simon

It's 128GB, not 128MB, and it's a Windows XP limitation, not a VMware limitation.

You're misunderstanding. I'm speaking about VRAM (or sort of as we are in a virtualization system -> therefore is still RAM). Therefore 128 Mbyte is the correct value for my question.

Thanks anyway.

No, you can't change it, and VMWare does not comment on future features.
