10.6 32/64bit Server doesn't boot

Trying to setup a new installation of OS X 10.6 server in Fusion 4.1.3

The picture shows what happens from the installDVD and backup DMG.

I bought this virtualization software for this specific function!

I got my 10.7 and 10.8 clients working beautifully, now all that is missing is the 10.6 Server.

How do I fix this?

Hi 7Tigers, and welcome to the VMware Communities!

Are you installing from original physical Mac OS X 10.6 Server media?  Mac OS will often fail to boot in this way if it's trying to load from incorrectly-imaged media or incorrectly-created backups/copies.  If you are imaging or copying Mac OS install media in Disk Utility, you must image the whole device (i.e. select the name/model of the physical CD/DVD drive as the source), not just the "partition" with the nice label indicating that it's the Mac OS install media.

Cheers,
