Tonight I opened VMware fusion , got a message there is a new version, so downloaded it : 1.1.0-62573.dmg. Tried to install , finally mesage : " installation failed ; following installation step failed: run postflight script for VMWare Fusion"
When I opened Fusion , clicked ' about VMWare Fusion" the version is : 1.1(62573)
Info about installed VM Fusion in Finder: version 1.1 , dated 27 october .
So , what has happened ? If I remember well I downloaded a beta version 1.1 in october 27; now turned in to the final 1.1 version ?
Thanks, Rien

Looks like one of the kexts didn't unload. The easiest way to solve this is to uninstall Fusion, reboot OS X, and install Fusion.
nothing happens with my virtual machine ( Win XP in my documents/virtual machines )??
Your virtual machine will be preserved. It is NOT be deleted.
Hi
I've just tried to upgrade to 1.1 and am getting an unable to connect peer process alert when I try and launch.
Any ideas?
Gary
OOOPS!
Have just answered my own question. Have just found a second instillation of vmfusion, ran that and everything is fine
Gary
Hi there
I had the same issue
Solution here (YMMV) :
repair permissions
reboot
reinstall
Hope this helps
