Why, when we are a registered service provider, and I try to take a VSP4 class, i get:
Sorry! The class you are attempting to access is private. Lenny Burns (lennyburns@stable-data.com) is not eligible to register for this class based on the user profile and class settings.
For additional information about this settings for this class, please contact the class manager at partneruniversity@vmware.com.
What is going on here?
i would advise contacting the above email or contacting your local channel rep to have it escalated and resolve for you,
Are you attempting to access the course via the customer-facing training portal (vmware.com/education) or via Partner University? The problem you describe could be caused by trying to access the course by way of vmware.com/education.
I suggest signing in to Partner Central, navigating to Partner University, and accessing the course there. If you don't have a Partner Central account, create one by means of http://www.vmware.com/partners/partners.html .
I found the problem.
Access to classes isnt instant.
It took 1 hour to gain access after registering for the class.
Something in the back end wasn't in sync.
I am taking the class now.
I was in the right place.
