hi
After reading several blogs and the official website I see a lot of confusion about what licenses are included in VCF 4.
Specifically, is the vRealize Suite (vRA,vROPs,....) included?
thanks
Here you go: https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/products/cloud-foundation/vmw-vcf-...
And this blog also has some good info:
this matrix doesnt speak about licenses
Well it does state it, but not in an easy way as you need to know which features are part of which SKU. let me try it for you:
VCF Starter | VCF Standard | VCF Advanced | VCF Enterprise |
---|---|---|---|
vSAN Advanced | vSAN Advanced | vSAN Advanced | vSAN Enterprise |
NSX Advanced | NSX Advanced | NSX Advanced | NSX Enterprise Plus |
vSphere Enterprise Plus | vSphere Enterprise Plus | vSphere Enterprise Plus | vSphere Enterprise Plus |
I am not too familiar with the vRealize Suite, I will let someone else comment on it
My interpretation of putting that VCF paper alongside the vRealize Suite paper suggests:
VCF Starter = vRealize Suite Standard
VCF Standard = None
VCF Advanced = vRealize Suite Advanced
VCF Enterprise = vRealize Suite Enterprise
If in doubt, contact whoever looks after your VMware licensing for a specific quote or SKU list.
sorry but in this whitepaper there is nothing about VCF
I never said it did.
Put the VCF paper and the vRealize paper side by side.
