vSAN Witness Appliance ESXi Upgrade

Hi team, we have a recently deployed VCF on VxRAIL deployment with 1 MGMT WLD and 1 VI WLD in a stretched cluster deployment. We have 2 witness appliances, one for each WLD running on a R640 server at a 3rd witness site. When it comes to upgrading the Witness ESXi appliances, what is the best practice here? I do not think we can upgrade those appliances via the SDDC Manager or VUM in vSphere (that is totally not supported from what I have seen). We recently upgraded VCF to 3.10.1.2 and would like to have the witness ESXi versions up at the same ESXi version as the rest of VCF. Thanks!

From a VMware point of view the lifecycle of the witness appliance sits outside the scope of SDDC Manager.  So you can either upgrade using VUM or manually upgrade it, however it may be best to contact Dell to see if they have any advice?
