uploading ISO to imaging appliance

Hi... just curious, I am uploading an ISO image if ESXi  to the vmware imaging appliance ... it laterally takes like 3 hours to upload 257 megabytes.  I am running the cloud-builder as an appliance on vmware workstation on my workstation which has plenty of diskspace, an NVME disk, 32Gb mem bla bla bla... what on earth could make it go quite this slow?  I forgot how long it takes and somehow the wrong ip address for the web server got stuck in my old one and I trashed it... now I am waiting and waiting again!

That is definitely not normal, for comparison I upload an image to my nested environments cloud builder which by the sounds of it would be much slower.  The process takes about a minute or less.

I would start by troubleshooting the different factors in your lab.. from the ground up.  Network all the way up to the application.  See if you can identify the bottleneck.  Try moving the appliance to something outside of VMware workstation and see if it makes a difference?  Straight onto one of those esxi hosts that you are imaging maybe?
