Can I have a Consolidated VCF deployment that has multiple clusters.
Scenario: - 6 hosts, VCF4.4
Put three hosts in a cluster for Management roles and general workloads.
Remaining 3x nodes which will be GPU enabled for Horizon workload
Not ideal but struggling to find any official mins/max for consolidated VCF which outline clusters allowed and size of clusters allowed. I know I can have up to 100 hosts
Note - I know if deploying Horizon WL this would be better on standard, but struggling to justify 4x management nodes
Thanks
To Build a VCF minimum node required is 4 nodes , this will be your Management domain .
per VCF you will have 1 SDDC VM , and 1 Management domain .
You can Create a VI WLD , maximum VI WLD for VCF is 14 .
WIth VI WLD you can have Multiple Clusters ,
Please check the below VMware minim & Maximu config and limitions of VCF.
To confirm, if this is a Consolidated Architecture
I have 6x Hosts up with Mgmt workloads (using Reservations) and my General workloads.
Do those 6x hosts need to be in a 6x node cluster or can I have 2x 3 node clusters in that Consolidated Architecture?
The Config maximums only lists the number of hosts allowed in a Consolidated Architecture, based on the default vCentre deployment of small. It doesn't show the maximum or minimum number of clusters in a Consolidated Domain.
Standart needs at least 7 nodes(4 for management + 3). Less than that is always a Consolidated Architecture.
Check this blog post. It will explain the difference between both.

I hope this helps.
