SDDC Support Bundle

Is it possible to redirect a SDDC support bundle to a network location. They eat up space, then it becomes a manual process move them off and delete them

Sddc support bundle get generated on the /dev/mapper/data_vg-vmware partition , which has 63gb space allocated. keep logs of 63gb will not make any sense.

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
devtmpfs 7.9G 0 7.9G 0% /dev
tmpfs 7.9G 12K 7.9G 1% /dev/shm
tmpfs 7.9G 1.1M 7.9G 1% /run
tmpfs 7.9G 0 7.9G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/sda4 28G 3.8G 23G 15% /
/dev/sda2 120M 23M 89M 21% /boot
tmpfs 7.9G 224K 7.9G 1% /tmp
/dev/mapper/lcmmount_vg-nfs--mount 503G 18G 460G 4% /nfs/vmware/vcf/nfs-mo unt
/dev/mapper/data_vg-data 7.9G 198M 7.3G 3% /data
/dev/mapper/data_vg-vcf 181G 1.7G 170G 1% /opt/vmware/vcf
/dev/mapper/data_vg-vmware 63G 257M 60G 1% /var/log/vmware  -> this is where ur logs are saved. it already 63GB . which is more than enough .
tmpfs 1.6G 0 1.6G 0% /run/user/1000

if run below command

/opt/vmware/sddc-support/sos --sddc-manager-logs

it will generate all the components logs . it will 10+GB space.

instead of running the full logs , generate the logs of only required bundle .

use the sos tool it will give u below options

Log Collections Options:
--esx-logs Collect ESXi logs
--vc-logs Collect vCenter Server logs
--sddc-manager-logs Collect SDDC-Manager logs
--psc-logs Collect PSC logs
--nsx-logs Collect NSX logs
--li-logs Collect Log Insight logs
--vrealize-logs Collect vRealize components logs (vRA, vROps, vRSLCM,
vRLI)

but ideally the logs will be generated by sos tool and it will be saved on root.

once logs are generated
