SDDC Manager does not accept Serviceprovider NSX license

Hi there,

we have a vcf on dell vxrail installation and the SDDC Manager does not accept our "NSX-DC SP Advanced per Processor for VCPP program" license. When I use this license directly in the NSX Manager it works.

Support is not helpful and seems to not understand the problem just says use another license that works.

Now my question: Is the NSX license in the SDDC Manager important after the initial installation is done? Can I just change it in NSX Manager?

Or does anyone have a solution to get the serviceprovider license to work in the SDDC Manager?

We experienced the same issue and I just learned that you'll have to order a specific VCF compatible NSX license. So please reach out to your aggregator or VMware contacts.
