How to reset SATADOM ?

Hi all

I want to know how to reset SATADOM.

I have 4 vSAN ready nodes for testing vCF 2.3.1(Hitachi UCP V120F). But these node used another vSAN environment, so SATADOM in these node already installed ESXi 6.5.

One of the requirement for vSAN ready node during the H/W imaging process in vCF, vSAN ready node should configured PXE boot mode and SATADOM boot device under PXE setting in bios settings. But In this case, I can’t select SATADOM for boot device under PXE boot mode, because SATADOM already installed other OS.

If someone knows how to reset SATADOM, please let me know.

Thank you

Hyun

Try to use linux live cd to  to format (remove) your MBR & partition table from that SATADOM : https://www.axllent.org/docs/view/erase-your-mbr/
