Add Cluster or new Workload Domain

Hi All

We will be adding 8 new nodes to our current VCF4.3 environment and I'm wondering what would be the best way to do it.

Should I create a second cluster in the current Workload Domain or should I create a new Workload Domain?
What are the pros and cons?

And what with the network design/VLANs? Should I provision new VLANs?

Thanks.

workload domains are a way to isolate environments (think separate vCenter/nsx manager).

if your nodes are meant for specific workload (VDI cluster) but within the same realm of control, add it as a second cluster in existing workload domain.

if it is meant to serve a different group of people, segregated network management, consider a new workload domain.

Thanks for your reply.

We have created a new cluster in the existing Workload Domain by using the same VLANs.
