Hi there,
I've recently noticed that my vCenter plugin for vROps doesn't work anymore in my lab:
Both vCenter and vROps are at the latest versions currently availabe (7.0 U2c for vCenter and 8.5 for vROps)
vROps works fine and is getting data, license is also fine (more than 200 days left) but I'd like to fix this of course, even if I don't use this portion quite often.
Any suggestion to fix this? Thy in advance.
Hi @franckehret
Please check api.log on vrops appliance as per => https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/55031 it might give you more clues
Pleas look at journal file for vrops appliance as sell https://vrealizeandbeyond.com/2020/01/vrealize-operation-8-x-services-check-and-restart/
Sound like API call fails when is trying validating something related to licenses.
Don't know much about API but maybe you can try to find more an vrops API documentation => https://docs.vmware.com/en/vRealize-Operations-Manager/8.4/com.vmware.vcom.api.doc/GUID-C27B4402-56D...
Let me know if you will find something
Reg.

Hi @szafa
Thanks a lot, the procedure described in https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/55031 did the trick! 😉
Don't know why it broke in the first place, may the 8.5 upgrade did something wrong but know I know hot to solve it...
@franckehret I'm glad that I was able to help 🙂
