We have a vCenter environment with 107 hosts and about 1950 VMs in it. We are also running lab manager in this environment.
We are currently running a weekly defrag/rebuild index job to help keep the fragmentation levels in the database down. We're noticing that even a day after the job has run, the levels of fragmentation are back up to quite high levels in many tables. Since VMWare doesn't tend to have any recommendations, other than lower numbers are better, I'm wondering how often other folks are running this type of job?
