smtp testing

Hello, I'm running VCOPS Advanced and want to test the SMTP option to send our reports and alerts. Set this up on the admin page with the details of the exchange server, allowed the IP on the Exchange server but is there a way to test the SMTP as the recipient is not receiving.

unfortunately, test option is not available

As to not receiving, have you configured a specific notification rule in the "vcops-vsphere" UI as well?

-> the logfile to check for messages out of the email-sending engine is 'analytics.log' on the 'analytics_vm' (should be in /data/vcops/logs).
